      Job Description

      The Head of B2B Marketing will help define and grow New Stand B2B services: New Stand at Work, our fresh take on workplace amenities and experiences; and New Stand Media, our brand partnership and media services.

       

      This role will build and lead a cross-functional, omnichannel marketing team focused on demand generation, customer marketing, and revenue partnerships. This role will be critical in building New Stand’s brand in the workplace vertical, growing distribution relationships, and establishing New Stand as a premier media platform. The Head of B2B Marketing will work closely with product, operations, and creative teams to leverage our growing network of communication and content pathways with the goal of acquiring and retaining customers.

       

      Customer Marketing

      • Position New Stand product solutions for key business verticals including media and institutional food service
      • Lead teams to develop tailored marketing collateral (narratives, videos, presentations, case studies) to educate customers on the New Stand unique value proposition
      • Lead pursuit-based marketing within accounts
      • Engage with the vertical communities and act as the external face of New Stand by presenting on-stage at internal and external events

       
       

      Customer Acquisition and Retention

      • Build a truly effective relationship between physical retail and online channels to establish lower-than-industry $CAC and higher-than-industry LTV/$CAC
      • Build and manage the B2B marketing P&L, driving toward aggressive new customer acquisition and sales growth targets while maintaining efficiency and managing the path to marketing profitability
      • Diversify marketing acquisition channels
      • Establish online channels (paid search, paid social, display) while maintaining or improving efficiency, expand efforts into new online channels (SEO, native advertising, affiliate)
      • Integrate world-class CRM marketing capabilities to build, test, and iterate on B2B communications for each stage of the customer lifecycle
      • Develop strong onsite offers and promotions to increase order frequency, AOV, and customer renewal rates

       
       

      Brand Management and Partnerships

      • Develop quantitative and qualitative approaches to better understand who our customers are, what they care about, why they shop with us, and how we can serve them better
      • Hands-on management of brand partnerships and community activations with creative collaborators, CPG companies, influencers, publishers, and commercial real estate partners
      • Champion customer obsession to meet the needs of the customer and not just the needs of the business
      • Leverage partnerships to garner positive press

       
       

      Content Marketing and Distribution (with In-House Studio)

      • Develop audience-specific content strategies that align with evergreen assets, brand campaigns, and integrated marketing initiatives
      • Integrate third-party voices to enrich and clarify the customer experience
      • Leverage SEO best practices to ensure content is discoverable and relevant to audience needs
      • Regularly provide insights and updates to senior leadership establishing content as a leading vehicle to build the brand and drive repeat and loyal engagement

       
       

      Qualifications

      • Based in New York
      • 10+ years of progressive experience within a fast growing marketing team at a premium consumer brand or retailer
      • 3+ years in a management capacity leading the department
      • Successful development, execution, and reporting of 360 campaigns with marketing initiatives across digital, print, OOH, paid and organic social, brand partnerships, press, influencerships
      • Expertise working with diverse teams and marketing to unique audiences
      • Successful management of a $5M - $10M marketing budget
      • Proficient in marketing automation, BI platforms, and other tools
      • Demonstrated ability engaging at the executive level of the organization by interfacing with key leaders across and up the chain
      • Experience building a management playbook with the ability to coach, empower and develop a team
      • The ability to travel to New Stand locations nationally as needed
