Gr4vy (pronounced Gravy), is a "no-code" Cloud payments orchestration platform. Gr4vy’s mission is to become the platform-of-choice by which all retailers deploy payment infrastructure around the world. Founded by former PayPal fintech leaders, Gr4vy is set to disrupt the $4 Trillion global retail payment space by removing the complexity of merchants running their own payment infrastructure.
 
2021 is the year the Gr4vy rocket ship takes off. With a recent $11.1M Series A round that closed in April, and our product and brand launch, it’s an exciting time to be part of the inaugural sales and business development team of this innovative B2B startup. You’ll have the opportunity to build with the best in the industry while driving Gr4vy’s sales & business development from the ground up.
 

About You 
 
We’re looking for a high performing Sales Superhero to build our direct sales “muscle” and create new sales opportunities by:

  • Acting as Gr4vy's first point of contact for prospects
  • Leveraging and improving outreach strategies for new lead generation
  • Engaging with merchants throughout the sales process into onboarding

 

Your Need-to-Haves

  • Experience in a B2B sales role, with an excellent track record of closing deals and delivering against ambitious targets
  • A learner’s mindset with an entrepreneurial bias as you develop a sound understanding of Gr4vy's unique selling points and are able to effectively connect them to the needs of a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior business leaders who aim to grow their revenue globally
  • Technical know-how - as you will be selling a great piece of technology - using the ability to digest technical documentation and conveying the inherent advantages to external developers and product leaders
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to communicate concisely as you interact with our product, engineering and marketing teams
  • Exceptional oral, written communication, listening and presentation skills as you will be reaching out and establishing relationships up to C-level
  • Excitement for a high-growth environment
  • Eagerness to join a diverse and inclusive team
