Maximilian's first job was in the asset management division of Commerzbank where he advised pensions & UHNWIs on public market investments. But he couldn't accept how slow things moved and how little technology was leveraged to improve process.
After an MBA at HHL in Leipzig, he started my own company driven by the belief that if you move fast and apply technology to non-digital processes, you can be successful. He sold the company after two years and moved to the other side of the table to combine his passion for entrepreneurship and finance alike.
He spent three years investing at Global Founders Capital, primarily in fintech and enterprise software, before joining the Activant team to lead Activant Berlin.

I have seen and assessed hundreds of business models in depth and provided guidance and support to founders globally.
Responsibilities
Worked directly with the General Partner Oliver Samwer on investments in the US and Germany and managed the data-focused sourcing team in Berlin. During that time, invested in and sat on the board of more than 10 technology companies focusing primarily on Fintech and Enterprise Software.
